If using in salt water, you must fresh water rinse.  Failure to do so can cause corrosion and product failure.

You mount the Advance Unit on the top of your helmet for maximum range.  If you are training or riding and will be experiencing hard falls, we recommend to mount your Advance Unit on the left side of your helmet.

TOP MOUNT – Use this mounting kit:

Use the alcohol prep to clean the mount and the surface of the helmet where the mount is going to go.

Stick the 3M tape onto the mount.

Install the mount onto the top of the helmet.

Locate these pieces:

Clean with alcohol and install the 3M tape on the mount.

Clean the bottom surface of the case, install mount.

Attach the waterproof case to the mount on the helmet.

LEFT SIDE MOUNT – Use this mount:

Use the alcohol prep to clean the mount and the surface of the helmet where the mount is going to go.

Stick the 3M tape on the mount.

Install the mount on the left side of the helmet.

Because all helmets are designed differently, find the best way to install the left and right speaker inside your helmet. Make sure they are located right over your ears.

Install the boom microphone on the inside of your helmet, left side. Tuck any excess wires up inside the padding of the helmet.

Take the wire with the 90 degree male jack and plug into the female jack on the extension.

According to where you want your wire to go, adhere these pieces to the appropriate location on your helmet with the 3M tape provided.

Place your Advance Unit into the waterproof case. Make sure the casing is securely into the mount. Plug in the boom microphone’s 3.5mm audio cable.

Make sure the cable is tight and secure. Failure to do so will cause water intrusion into the casing. Any water damage to the unit within the casing is not covered under warranty. Make sure after each use that your case is secure and sealed.
